Family Vacation & 19 Weeks

We just got home from our annual 10 day Lee family vacation.  I mean real vacation - beach, eat, sleep, repeat.  (I only put on makeup twice!) Robert, Chris and I did squeeze in a few morning jogs too.  We had a blast but it's always good to be home.  I left for the trip at 18 weeks and not looking pregnant at all and came home with a real baby bump at 19 weeks!  It's definitely real now!

Pregnant girl's beach gear!  Ha!! I really didn't read that on the beach but I did read 2 good books.
Look what NeNe found for Bean at a high end consignment shop in Destin - a Schwinn jogging stroller for $30!  Yippee!

Our little family photo at 19 weeks (minus Sugar)

I mentioned reading 2 good books:  Heaven is for Real and Looking for Salvation at the Dairy Queen.  The latter one took a little while to get into, but ended up being good.  I read the first in just a few hours.  I highly recommend it to everyone!
Pregnancy Highlights

How Far Along:  19 weeks

Size of Baby:  About 6 inches long and 8.5 ounces or the size of an tomato.  Last week, Bean was a mango!

Total Weight Gain/Loss:  2.5 lbs according to my scales

Maternity Clothes:  I am still wearing some normal clothes but have purchased some maternity stuff, and boy are those clothes comfy!

Gender:  We checked a few weeks ago on a portable ultrasound machine in Robert's department so we know, but aren't sharing until we confirm at the 20 week appointment on June 20!! Layla or Tripp?!

Movement:  Not yet.

Sleep:  Sleep is great minus the several trips to the restroom!

Cravings/Aversions: I am recently obsessed with raw veggies (tomatoes, cucumbers, califlower) but totally turned off by cooked veggies (broccoli, asparagus) that I usually love.

Emotions:  I had an emotional night during vacation when I realized I am starting to grow!

What I miss:  I definitely missed having a cold beer on the beach and a nice glass of red wine with dinner during vacation.

Symptoms: I am really sore in my lower abdomen.  Other than that, I am feeling good!

What I'm looking forward to:  Feeling Bean move!
