Last Fling Before the Ring!

I cannot believe my best friend is getting married in a week! It's such an exciting time, and I am so happy Allyson has found the love of her life. Last weekend, we celebrated by spending a weekend in San Destin. We played fun games each night, had a lingerie shower brunch on Saturday, spent time on the beach, ate wonderful dinners, and danced the nights away! Plus, we had the most awesome condo ever. It was an awesome weekend with some amazing ladies!

I cannot wait until the wedding weekend in Natchez!

My Guy

October 18 was our 2 year wedding anniversary. It was a very romantic day - we had breakfast then he did homework and I cleaned the house. Ha! We are officially an old married couple. It was really nice just to be home at the same time though, and we did go for a fabulous dinner that night. I am very thankful to be married to my best friend. We always have fun and I know he always be there for me. Thank you, Robert, for being an awesome husband! I cannot wait to celebrate 50 m0re anniversaries!

Our yummy breakfast!

family photo from our 1st anniversary

I don't want to bore everyone with the story of us, so I am just going to give you a highlight. I said I was going to marry Robert the first time I met him. No one believed me then but 6 years and 3 months later, I married him! He was my college crush which turned into a best friend then a boyfriend and then an amazing husband! I feel very lucky that I get to spend the rest of my life with him.

Okay, I'm done with all the mushy stuff!
Here is the recipe for the super easy and super yummy breakfast casserole pictured above:
1 package of sausage (I like Jimmy Dean spicy)
1 block of cream cheese
2 cans of crescent rolls
Place one can of crecent rolls on bottom of casserole dish and heat for about 5 minutes in oven. Crumble up the sausage and cook thoroughly. Drain sausage and add to cream cheese in a mixing bowl. Stir until the mixture is even. Add mixture evenly on top of crescent roll layer. Top with the other package of cresecent rolls and bake until brown per instructions on package.

...and the home of the MUSTANGS!

Where have the last 10 years gone? I cannot believe that last weekend was my 10 year high school reunion! It was a blast!! Friday night we tailgated at the West Jones Homecoming game. It was so neat being back on campus after 10 years especially since our football team is so good now. Saturday we had a catered dinner at the Laurel Hotel followed by a night of dancing. We played games and had prizes, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It's amazing that you can go 10 years without seeing someone and then catch up like you never missed a beat. I love you, WJH Class of 2000!

The Shady Grove Eagles Group! The biggest and best group at the reunion! :)

Robert was so upset that he had to miss Southern Miss Homecoming but marriage is about compromise, right?! AND he ended up having so much fun!

I'm already ready for the next one!
